Seven Days (vii)

On the seventh day, Man rested from his labors
And the Earth was still,
For Man no longer dwelt upon the Earth.
And it was good.

  1. Thank you for posting the Seven Days. I recited it in a high school presentation in 1971 with the music of Zager & Evans’ “In the Year 2525” playing in the background. I used to have a typed copy of it with “Last Chapter of Genesis” as its title, but I haven’t been able to find it for a long time. I found your posting after the third day had been posted and kept coming back weekly until you’d posted it all. I’m really glad to find it again.
